If you enjoy sushi and but have never learned how to make your own, then here is your chance to learn the tricks of the bamboo rolling mat and the intricacies of sushi rice. Sam is teaming up with Cracking Good Food to run a 4 hour ‘sushi and miso’ class at Parrs Wood High School this coming Saturday. In this workshop we will explode the myths and explore the subtle flavours & key ingredients which make up traditional soups & sushi. Suitable for both vegetarians and pescatarians, we will be using high quality fish and key Japanese ingredients and seasonings to create a range of mouthwatering sushi with dipping sauce, containing the distinctive taste of Umami.
